About Permafrost Map

Explore the frozen world of Permafrost with the SolveBase Interactive Map, built to help you find important locations, track resources, discover loot, and plan your next expedition.

Permafrost features a handcrafted world that remains consistent across playthroughs, so locations on the SolveBase map correspond to the same places in your game. The map covers 35 named locations and 4,477 points of interest across 156 categories, organized into 10 interactive layers.

Regions and Key Locations

Explore seven named regions: Woods, The Estate, Maple Island, Solar Facility, Urban District, White Hell, and Skyscrapers.

The world also contains seven safe zones, 13 exploration zones, four caves, five scavenging areas, four cold zones, and two meeting places.

The seven safe zones are Church, Crow's Nest, Horizon, Sonnenberg's Clinic, The Last Stand, Solar Power Plant, and Technocrats Colony. If you die, you can respawn at the nearest available safe zone. Horizon is the first safe zone you'll encounter, reached through a short cave from the starting ravine. Building is prohibited within Horizon's boundaries.

Cold zones are colder than the surrounding areas. Watch for the in-game warning when entering one and prepare accordingly.

Fast Travel and Traders

Fast travel posts are located at Horizon, Solar Power Plant, Church, Crow's Nest, and The Last Stand. Each features a wooden post with a sled. Activate a post once to unlock it for future journeys, then travel between unlocked posts when you're not in combat or facing a severe snowstorm.

Look for traders throughout the world, including Anna, Condor, Dr. Sonnenberg, Eric Hirsch, General Trader, Jeremiah Crow, Logan Boyce, Robyn, Skinwalker, The Mule, and The Rat Queen.
